Psyche is a very determined person, which is showed through the story of her getting her husband, Eros. She has humility and respect for those above her and is a very hard worker. Having been born a mortal and suffered for simply being beautiful, she has empathy for mortals and heroes and is known to help them when they are in trouble.
12. Background: (this needs to be about 100 words. Just a little bit into the history of your character)
Psyche was the youngest of three children to a King and Queen in Greece, but was cursed with beauty that was both intimidating and enthralling. People worshiped her as the next Aphrodite but no one wanted to get to know her because they saw her as untouchable. When Aphrodite got wind of this, she sent her son to punish her but Eros instead fell in love with her and took her away. One condition was that she could not look upon him. After a visit with her jealous older sisters, she broke her agreement with Eros and looked upon him while he slept. He left her, thinking their relationship could not be saved, but while Eros wallowed in his brokenhearted-ness, Psyche trekked across all of Greece, pregnant to find him and then faced four trials set to her by Aphrodite to prove her love. When he overheard his mother sending his wife to Hades for her fourth task, Eros rushed to save her, taking her to Olympus and demanding the gods make her an immortal. When she awoke, she was so happy to see her husband, knowing that they could be together forever.
